Weeds

Weeds are easier to grow than a beautiful plant. Beautiful plants take work, tending to and nurturing. Weeds do not need your attention. In fact, they seem to prefer if you are not paying attention so that they can continue to grow. The more weeds that are growing, the easier it is for weeds to build their roots and establish their territory. Sometimes you pull out weeds thinking you’ve solved the problem and then they return out of nowhere. So to build a beautiful garden, one must kill the roots of weeds and focus all their attention on submitting to the needs of those wanted plants.

Now let’s read that again replacing the words weeds with negativity and plant with the word, “mind”.

Negativity is easier to grow than a beautiful mind. Beautiful minds take work, tending to and nurturing. Negativity does not need your attention. In fact, negative thoughts prefer if you are not paying attention so that they can continue to grow. The more negative thoughts that are growing, the easier it is for negativity to build its roots and establish it’s territory. Sometimes you get rid of negative thoughts thinking you’ve solved the problem and then they return out of nowhere. So to build a beautiful mind, one must kill the roots of negativity and focus all their attention on submitting to the needs of their wanted mindset.

What a fine representation the good lord has made for mankind’s cognitive processes.
